My 2003 xk 8 windows will drop when opening the door but go up immediately when released.

This is the normal function of the jaguar xk8 convertibles cars door windows. My jaguar xk8 roof is not working the hood wont latch and the back windows wont go up. Tried resetting indexing many times and battery reset. It has 2 problems one is that the windows don t go up when you close the door.
