2005 Chevy Colorado Driver Window And Door Locks Not Working

I ve run out of things to try other than going to a chev shop to get my driver s window and all door locks to work.

I found other solutions that were said to work and did not work. Can every admit that chevy is really on the ball these days. I tried this 10 step process and it worked so thank you so much for this. I have checked the fuses u read more.

After i charged it up the driver s side front door power window and door locks are not working. For the windows the bcm is not involved at all. I checked all fuses even 68 relay but still could not find problem i drove 18 miles in 30 degree weather at nite got home and was very confused with this truck. That s to enable the bcm to trigger locking and unlocking.

On my 2005 chevy colorado my battery died while my truck sat for two weeks. The driver side window was stuck down and all door locks would not work all the other windows went up and down as they should but still no drivers window or door locks. You have the fuse the switch and relay module in the door window motors and the wiring between them. I was getting frustrated since i really do not have the money to replace parts.

For the locks the bcm does have two signal outputs to the window door lock module. With the driver s window partial down and plastic taped over it i haven t driven around very much other than one drive 22 miles down the highway and back. I disconnected the negative battery terminal for cleaning and when i reconnected it i found that my driver s side power window but not the passenger side and both power door locks did not work. I got the driver window and door locks not working again.
